Did racism in America disappear in the Sixties?  Some say yes but lately there has been considerable attention paid to reports of racism.  The election of Barack Obama to the Presidency certainly showed that racism was not rampant.  There was some increase in comments and jokes of a racial nature.

With the advent of President Trump's election there has been a significant increase racially motivated incidents.  A general consensus suggests that the public has been emboldened by the Presidents actions - denigrating Muslims, praising Nazis as including some "nice" people, classing immigrants as animals, rapists, and drug dealers - can we imagine that those of us who harbor racist thoughts are anything but encouraged that letting them out is ok?
